Sit-at-home: Ekpa writes EU, US, demands visa ban on Gov Mbah

Finland-based Pro-Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, has written to the European Union and the United States of America over alleged human rights abuses carried out by Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State.

Three people were killed on Wednesday when traders took to the streets to protest the sealing of their shops by the state government for not opening for business on Monday.

Ekpa, in a letter written to the international community afterwards however demanded a visa ban on Mbah for violating the citizens’ fundamental human rights.

He added that the Enugu State government confiscated and arrested people in the state without recourse to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
